Windsurfing: Felixstowe-Fludyers

Wind Stength: F5/F6, squall F7
Surf / Sea State: chop n rollers
Air Temperature: 12.5
Sea Temperature: 12.5
Weather: cloud, bit of rain
Max Speed:
Distance Covered:

Off at Dip and x-on at Fludyers so met Peter Strawb there. Felt windier than it looked so rigged 76l/4.7m, and used bigger 25cm fin as wind with tide.Well powered up and as wind climbed adjusted a few times until depowered as much as I could. 4.2m would have been fine at times.
Big chop but OK as some rollers too which were good to turn off and gave some shelter for turns in a couple of squalls which were overpowering touching F7 at times. Went about 50 metres past blue kiosk to lessen effect of current, and had no trouble keeping up wind. Nice turns on rollers. Roger turned up but had too big a board and 5m which was too much most of the time. Super 1.5 hours on the water before back ached and tired.
